Going "Up" Sure Beats Getting Dragged to Hell This Weekend

Well that's positive news. The Pixar flick [i]Up[/i] was a smash its opening weekend, beating [i]Drag Me to Hell[/i] (no thanks) and beating [i]Wall-E[/i]'s opening last year. I like to think it's a sign! We went to see Star Trek last night and although it sold out again, the line for it didn't compare to the lines for [i]Up[/i]. I'm skipping [i]Terminator: Salvation[/i] this year. I've had to budget my movie money for the summer and something had to get cut. We're waiting for [i]Transformers[/i] instead and of course, we'll wait a few weeks before we go see [i]Up[/i]. And to all of you people who wait for the movie to start and then come in and try to find a seat together and stand in the front looking around and pointing out possible locations and whispering to each madly...please go over to the next theater and watch [i]Drag Me to Hell[/i] instead. Plenty of seating.
